Samsung Galaxy SIII will get JellyBean update this October

Samsung has finally released a confirmed date when owners of the Samsung Galaxy S III will receive the Android 4.1 update. The Korean manufacturers told the press that it will be released at October. The update is meant for the U.K. version of the flagship phone, which means that if you are a Samsung Galaxy SIII user residing outside UK, then we might have a problem.

With the news coming directly from Sammy, you might expect to see SIM-free models get the update first. This could be a test to whether it will be compatible  with its network.

Now the ultimate question lies, what about the latter part of the world? Sorry but there are no news or rumors yet as to when it will be released. As a Samsung Galaxy SIII fan, it’s better off waitig for an announcement from Samsung or your carrier.
