The next generation iPad and iPad mini will likely launch in March according to well-known analysts. If this guess is correct, then Apple will be advance by several months of their release timeline. They will most likely battle out Samsung’s new lineup this March.
Brian White of Topeka Capital Markets has been checking with key “industry sources” at this week’s CES in Las Vegas, Nev. These checks indicate that new iPads will be ready for market in just a few weeks.
As same as the old updates, the new iPad will be lighter and thinner than the previous models. The weird thing here is that, it won’t be any different with the current fourth-generation iPad with Retina display. The insides, however, iPad 5 will include the new A6X processor and Apple’s smaller Lightning connector.
The iPad mini will include upgraded components, such as a faster chip, but will look just like its predecessor. It is not yet confirmed whether the new iPad mini will include Retina display.
If the rumors are correct, it IS a very decent upgrade.
